You may have noticed things look a little different around here…

There’s a reason for that!

Once upon a time, there was a company called CollegePlus. (That was us!)

In 2004, our company entered the world as a revolutionary new way to approach college—one that would help students accelerate their degrees while simultaneously keeping them out of debt.

Over the next decade, it grew and thrived.

In 2015, however, CollegePlus began expanding to new markets. It quickly became a global initiative, and we knew neither the current brand structure or the name CollegePlus would serve our company well as it continued to grow.

That’s when we rebranded CollegePlus to Lumerit Scholar. Still a revolutionary way to approach college, but one that was intended to serve a global market.

However, after we made this change, we felt these extraordinary Lumerit Scholars—who were once CollegePlus students—still deserved to have their community recognized. Most of these students were homeschooled, Christian, and excited about accelerating their degrees. These students viewed college as their launching pad into bigger, better things.

Introducing Unbound.

The recent branding changes are our way of giving back to these students by properly displaying their passion, excitement, and individuality to the world.

The program hasn’t changed. Unbound is still a part of the Lumerit Scholar umbrella. And it still includes the same benefits and amazing opportunities available in Lumerit Scholar.

What we did do was change the name.


Because these students are defined by the amazing opportunities they pursue beyond college: taking internships, working jobs, starting businesses, going on missions trips, starting families, pursuing their God-given dreams.

That’s something most of the world does not do. And that’s something that makes our Unbound students extraordinary.

The second thing we did was update the Unbound website with new colors, a slick new design, and branding that characterizes these students.

Our designers worked hard to make a visual brand that not only looks amazing but matches the modern, exciting type of student Unbound attracts.
