- Giving students the opportunity to practice effective mentoring--both working with a mentor and mentoring others.

Is this a faith-based program?
While many aspects of Communication & Leadership are taught from a Christian perspective or taught by Christian professors, we don’t expect or require you to identify with any specific religion. We simply ask that you be aware that many of these courses and events teach Christian principles and contain Christian themes.
Who is a good fit for this program?
If you want to spread your ideas, climb the corporate ladder, communicate effectively, or simply start your communication-related bachelor’s degree in a meaningful and exciting way, you’re the perfect fit. But you don’t have to major in communications. We welcome aspiring journalists, entrepreneurs, writers, comedians, public speakers, and anyone who wants to turn their dreams into reality!
What do students do after this program?
As Communication & Leadership concludes, we’ll make sure you’re ready to take the next steps towards earning your degree. An Admissions Counselor will help you plan any additional transfer courses you should be taking, and once you’re ready to transfer, they’ll guide you on exactly how to enroll at your chosen university.
Can I take more than 5 courses?
Definitely! While in the Communication & Leadership program, you will need to complete the required 5 courses during the program, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take more! We’ll help you purchase additional courses if desired.
What if I don’t know which college to choose?
Then you’re in luck! Our Admissions Counselors will provide you with personalized recommendations, so you can make an educated decision. Unlike most college advisors, we don’t accept any money from colleges, so you can count on us for an unbiased recommendation.
What can I major in?
It depends on the school you select. Nearly every communication-related major and many other majors are available. However, since the majors offered differ between schools, your Admissions Counselor will help you choose the right school and major for you.
Interested in a specific major? Please contact an Admissions Counselor.
Can I use the credit I've already earned?
Of course! Our Academic Advisors will review your transcripts and provide recommendations based on the credit you already have. However, this program is specifically designed for students who have less than 18 credits, so keep in mind the more credits you already have, the less likely it is that Communication & Leadership will be a good fit for you.
Can I use financial aid or scholarships?
Most student “aid” is actually debt. So we don’t accept any funds from financial aid. Instead, we work hard to lower your total cost, removing any need for student aid in the first place. We have several flexible payment options available for Communication & Leadership. Ask an Admissions Counselor for more details.
Can I use my 529 fund?
Many institutions handle 529 funds differently, but most people can use their 529 fund. Make sure to verify this with your Admissions Counselor.
